The Strong’s inspiring journey of faith and dedication to their community is a testament to the power of resilience and belief. Starting with the humble beginnings of a rented storefront church near downtown, they faced adversity when the city declared Eminent Domain on the property. However, they remained steadfast in their faith, and through divine intervention, they found a new home in an abandoned convenience store on the edge of town. The transformation of this space into a place of worship was a true manifestation of faith in action.
As time passed, the impact of their ministry grew, and by 2002, God had sparked a revival in the community, attracting new families to the church. The demand for a larger sanctuary became evident, leading to the construction of the current sanctuary and additional classrooms, solidifying the church’s role as a beacon of hope, healing, and spiritual growth for people of all ages.

The story of the Strong’s and their ministry at ALM serves as a reminder that through unwavering faith and commitment, incredible transformations are possible. It is a testament to the profound impact that a few dedicated individuals can have on a community when guided by their faith and the intention to make a positive difference in the lives of others.
After many years of faithful leadership, the Strong’s retired from their pastoral role in 2018. It was a smooth transition for our new Pastor, Keith Glenn, as he and his wife, Kim, have been ministering in the local church for many years. Holding to the same old paths, the church vision remains the same – the whole gospel to the whole world, starting right here at home. The retirement of the Strong’s marked the end of an era, and the beginning of a new chapter for the church community.

 Their years of service and dedication left a lasting impact, and the church now looks towards the future with Pastor Keith Glenn at the helm. With his leadership and guidance, the church continues to embody its vision of spreading the gospel far and wide, with a strong foundation in the local community. The congregation eagerly anticipates the journey ahead, embracing the continuity of the church’s vision while welcoming new leadership and fresh perspectives.
